🔒 Short version: everything stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or transmit your habit data. There is no server that knows you made your bed.
What data we collect
Made My Bed stores your streak data locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly submit your email address through our early access form.
Email address (optional)
If you voluntarily enter your email address in our early access or streak-protection form, it is submitted to Netlify Forms, our form hosting provider. We use this address only to notify you when streak backup functionality launches. We do not:
- Sell your email to third parties
- Send marketing or promotional email
- Share your email with advertisers
You can request deletion of your email at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Analytics
We do not currently use any analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and add a clear notice on the site.
localStorage
Your streak history is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key mmb_v3. This data is:
- Stored only on your device
- Readable only by this website
- Deletable at any time using "Clear history" inside the tool, or by clearing your browser data
Children's privacy
Made My Bed is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the tool after changes constitutes acceptance.
